Sizing information.

A child’s age, weight, or current casual clothing size does not always provide enough information to select the proper size for special occasion apparel. Here’s why:
Age - Children come in many different shapes and sizes–some are larger or smaller than others at the same age.
Weight -  A tall, thin child can weigh the same as a short, plump child…but they don’t wear the same size.
Size -  Every clothing manufacturer develops proprietary sizing measurements; sizes in one brand vary from the same sizes in other brands.

             We always recommend sizing decisions be based on measurements.
 Our high-quality special occasion apparel includes ample wearing room and we don’t skimp on fabric. If you feel you need sizing assistance, you are welcome to contact us.

Height - Measure top of head to bottom of foot (similar to how you would measure yourself).
Chest- Using a soft measuring tape (or string if soft measuring tape is not available) measure all the way around the chest under the arms at the fullest part of the chest.  Don't add a few inches to your baby's chest size to give yourself some wiggle room. Our designers have added wearing ease of 2″ to 2.5″ to the width of the garments to allow for a comfortable fit.

 The measurements listed below are the actual measurements of the gown, not of your child. If your child has a 20" chest, please add 2-2.5" movement allowance while selecting the dress size.. In this case, the child with the 20" chest would need our 12-18 months size.
Newborn: Chest: 18", Length: 18"
0-3 months: Chest:20", Length: 19"
3-6 months: Chest:20.5", Length: 20"
6-9 months: Chest:21", Length: 21"
9-12 months: Chest:21.5", Length: 22"
12-18 months: Chest:22", Length: 23"
18-24 months: Chest:23", Length: 26"
2t years: Chest:23.5", Length: 27,5"
3t years: Chest:24.5", Length: 29"

How long does it take for me to receive my order?

Dress tailoring takes 2-4 days + delivery 10-12 days.
Delivery is done by DHL, FedEx.

Should I wash my outfit before my baby wearsit?

We do not recommend washing your baby's outfit before they wear it on event day! Water, heat, and detergents can affect the shape and color of the outfit. Water can actually damage the delicate silk, lace, and ribbon used for your special outfit. We do recommend taking your outfit out of the packaging and and allowing it to hang for a day or two before your event to help relax any slight wrinkling that may be caused during shipping. Some customers have also opted to have their outfit steamed before their event to refresh the material! If you do wish to iron stubborn wrinkles, use it on a low setting and use either tissue paper or a layer of cotton in between to keep the materials safe from water drops or overheating. It is not necessary for your garments to be dry-cleaned before wear either. 

My child's sizes are not standard. Should I go by their age anyway?

We really say to go more by the baby's actual measurements than by age or weight since babies can vary in size. A short but chunky 6 month old baby might need a 9-12mo gown since their chest would measure larger and the height isn't important for longer gowns that go past the baby's feet! When in doubt, our friendly Customer Service reps are happy to help with sizing.
